UV Lamp for Healing Psoriasis Naturally

Spending my first real winter in New Zealand for some time, I was worried my lovely clear skin would begin to form psoriasis patches in the long months ahead with little sunshine and cold days.

For me, keeping my skin in the warm natural sunshine is paramount in keeping my psoriasis at bay.

So I decided to take the plunge and purchase a hand-held UVB lamp for use at home.

I waited excitedly for it to arrive from Australia. I wondered if it would work. (I had some little patches beginning to appear after a month without sunshine). It arrived! I read the booklet and immediately set to work - putting on the dark protective glasses, setting the little minute timer and finally switching on the lamp.

Each day for ten days I applied the light as instructed.. and presto.. it worked! Clear Skin!!

A wonderful alternative to natural sunlight. It does not feel hot on the skin - just warm.

I worked up slowly to 3 minutes per patch for the best results.. But it is important to read the instructions and use the lamp accordingly to your skin type and sensitivity to the light. It has a comb attachment which I like to use as it keeps the device at the recommended distance from the skin so I don't have to hold it in midair.

I use the timer faithfully - I turn on a favorite TV show and at the "beep beep beep" I switch to the next patch.

It is my new winter "must have". I highly recommend it.
